Peter serves as a director of the company. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Modeso, LLC d/b/a Rapidfunds, the country’s leader in post settlement funding to attorneys. Peter is a 1984 graduate of Binghamton University, having graduated with academic honors. He is also a 1987 graduate of the St. John’s University School of Law. He has been an admitted attorney in New York State and some New York federal courts since 1988. He successfully practiced law in New York City, primarily as a litigator, in one of the City’s most prominent and largest national law firms, as well as two small speciality firms, and finally in his own private practice. After 12 consecutive years at the practice of law, in 2000 Peter transitioned to a business career by joining Cybersettle, Inc. as an executive primarily responsible for running its attorney marketing team. Cybersettle, an online dispute resolution company, conducted business with 33,000 trial lawyers throughout the United States and Peter was responsible for managing a team of employees who maintained relationships with those lawyers–a vital role for Cybersettle. In 2004 Peter was named Vice President of Operations for Cybersettle and was responsible for the day to day operation of the entire Company including maintaining and expanding its business with its attorney customers and insurance company customers alike. Peter managed a substantial external field staff and an internal support staff and reported directly to the Chief Executive Officer. In 2004, Peter assisted Charles S. Brofman in developing the RapidFunds concept and created the internal guidelines and underwriting criteria by which it would operate. Peter assists in the due diligence process at ECAP and provides technical support in the preparation of legal documentation for each transaction. Peter and Charlie work side by side in the operation of the business and take a team approach to analyzing prospective deals and transactions. Peter also provides capital to ECAP for the funding of asset purchases. Peter is 51 years of age and he lives in New York City with his wife and their son.
